Where is wound care offered?
Wound care is offered in-office for podiatric needs. We can handle minor to severe cases of wound care. We provide a comfortable and caring setting to ensure our patients are satisfied with their care.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Yes, you do need to schedule an appointment. This is not a walk-in clinic. The doctor sees patients Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
What are the different types of treatment?
Wound care can be treated by a medical professional. Treatments vary based on the needs of the patient and the condition of the wound. The doctor will first examine the injury to understand what treatments will work best. Dr. David C. Scherer, D.P.M., P.A. takes his time to answer your questions. He wants you to be informed and ready to receive the treatment he prescribes.
Will my insurance cover the cost?
Most insurance do cover wound care, however, please contact our office to see if we accept your insurance.
